Peter Sobers OD, B.A. (Hons.) Barrister-at-Law CONSULTANT

Mr. Sobers is the local consultant to Foga, Daley & Company and a former Deputy Solicitor General. He has been a Barrister for 32 years having been admitted to the Inns of Court Middle Temple in 1968. Mr. Sobers has specialized training in port state control and human rights. Mr.Sobers worked in the Attorney General's Chambers for 30 years where he headed the Commercial Law Department and served as Deputy Solicitor General for 10  years. Prior to this he acted as Deputy Registrar of the Supreme Court of Judicature in Jamaica in Civil matters. He has extensive experience in commercial law, constitutional law, public law and maritime law and has represented the Government of Jamaica at Legal Affairs Fora of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) and the Council of Legal Education.
