Analisa Chapman, Attorney-at-Law is one of the Associates at Foga Daley & Co. Ms. Chapman obtained a Bachelor of Laws Degree
with Honours from the University of the West Indies in 2003. Ms. Chapman
pursued courses in Copyright Law, Contract Law, Corporate Management and
Company Law and joins Foga Daley & Co.’s Intellectual Property
Department. Ms. Chapman graduated from the Norman Manley Law School with a Certificate of Legal Education in October 2005 and was called to the Jamaican Bar in November 2005. Ms. Chapman’s practice areas include copyright licensing and litigation, trademark and patent rights acquisition, entertainment law and company incorporation. She represents the Business Software Alliance on the Jamaica Anti-piracy Alliance (JAPA). In 2002 and 2004, Ms. Chapman worked as an intern at Foga Daley & Co. and gained considerable experience in intellectual property and commercial law matters. In 1999 she obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree with Honours majoring in English Literature from the University of the West Indies and gained training and experience as a digital filmmaker, writer and Public Relations Account Executive, prior to qualifying as an Attorney-at-Law. Ms. Chapman has been a contributor to publications such as Woman to Woman Magazine, an Entertainment Reporter for The Jamaica Observer and involved in various aspects of the local theatre and film industry.
